Mihir, a trying-to-be writer, lives with his family. Like normal people, everyone in the family have something that they believe in and live for. They lead a normal life, caring for one another, albeit with a seasoning of underlying tensions that stem from their diverse beliefs.
The family is worried that Mihir’s son Kabeer has an imaginary friend, Christofer. They are also amused because Mihir is planning to attend a conference of Flat Earthers in their city. Flat earthers believe the earth is a flat disc and not a sphere, and that all governments and scientists of the world have conspired to hide this TRUTH from us. Mihir has no intention of being swayed by such conspiracy theories. He wants to attend the conference only to get fresh ideas for his book.
What does Mihir discover at the conference? What happens to Kabeer’s Christofer? Is believing in a flat Earth really as strange as it sounds? Is Mihir just writing stories, or is he also telling himself a story? Arabian Nights is a story of stories and their place in the life of humans.
